## NOTICE: RECRUITMENT FRAUD

Please be advised that we have been made aware of fraudulent recruitment scams being conducted by individuals/organizations claiming to represent Roots. The aim of these scams is to deceive you into providing personal information or money under the guise of seeking employment with Roots. We take notices of fraudulent job offers very seriously and are monitoring cases closely. Included below is information on Roots' recruitment process to assist you in identifying potential fraud.

*   Available job opportunities with Roots are all posted on our [careers site](https://can241.dayforcehcm.com/CandidatePortal/en-US/roots). When browsing external job sites such as LinkedIn and Indeed, valid job postings will lead you back to our official careers site to apply.
*   All email communications from Roots will be sent using a valid Roots email ending in "@roots.com".
*   Roots may contact you via phone call, email, LinkedIn or a Microsoft Teams meeting throughout the recruitment process. No other virtual interview platforms are used.
*   You will never be asked to contribute a payment of fees as part of the recruitment process.

## Recruitment Fraud - LinkedIn

Recruitment scams may be conducted on LinkedIn by individuals creating fake profiles or career pages to resemble that of Roots. Please note the below:

*   Our only company page on Roots can be found [here.](https://www.linkedin.com/company/roots/mycompany/?viewAsMember=true) All valid Roots job postings will be linked under this company page.
*   LinkedIn imposters may have a lack of real personal information, low frequency in their activity section, and low number of connections within the organization they claim to work for.

We encourage you to report any fraud to the necessary authorities - here are some actions you may follow:
